    Hard to imagine an improvement over the current Specialist, but I'm excited to see what you've come up with. Will we get a preview of the new offering before the current style of Specialists are unavailable?

    I could imagine it being better if it got the same performance, but was constructed of leather. Not counting on that one coming true though, but I am excited to see... I help off on getting one of these for a bit so hopefully I like the new ones.

    Here are some of the features of the new design:

    -Nylon buckle that is lower profile, stronger, and provides active retention of the tail (it is also non-reflective / low IR signature and non metallic)
    -Specialized loop that will have the longest cycle life of any hook and loop product
    -New stitching pattern on the tail / hook to increase the hook strength
    -Seam sealant applied to hook to increase durability
    -End of tail is chemically stiffened to make it easier to thread through fixed loop attachments

    @Mack,
    When will the new version be available? I'd like to pick one up before an upcoming trip.

    Will the price remain the same for the new version?

    Talk about timing. I just got my belt a couple of weeks ago. Am I going to wish I waited?

    That sounds and looks awesome.

    Thank you for always looking to improve on your product! I see you took notice of the comments elsewhere regarding feeding the tail through loops.

    I’m really looking forward to this and hope to order it soon to see if it’ll replace my current specialist.

    Looks good. Will be buying one.

    BTW, for martial arts that use street clothes, the Graith Specialist belt is the best option I have found.

    When does the new iteration come with “P-F orange" lining?
