Peltor Tactical Sport battery life

Not sure if this is the right place for this.

I have a set of 3M Peltor Tactical Sport with comms ear protection. The battery life seems to be 5-6 hours of continuous use, even when using Energizer lithium batteries. I called 3m Peltor and the rep was clueless. Couldn't give me any idea if this is normal battery life for the model. Does anyone here have the same ones? Could you give me an idea what kind of battery life you are getting?

I also have an old set of Tactical 6s, and they go for weeks on one set of batteries.

I have a set that I use as my back up. I used them for two days straight at my last training class and that was after loaning them out for a few different range sessions and they still have battery life. Batteries have been in for about a little over a year. I think you have an issue with yours and if there is warranty peltor should repair or replace.
