Vermont has fallen - Governor signed gun control bill

Plagued by high gun ownership and low, low gun violence rates, Vermont acted. The mag ban seems just strange, more details when I find a good summary.

Quoted simply because I appreciate well expressed sarcasm to start off the day.

There's nothing civil about this war.

They had to Do Something®! Such a situation has proven over and over to be incompatible with sustainable Democratic Party control.

I predict some new faces will be seen in the state house and Governor's mansion during the next few election cycles.

It infects BOTH parties. Remember the PATRIOT Act right after 9/11?

Like many other states, Vermont has actually be plagued by the immigration of brain-dead liberals who thought they loved the life style but in fact are really determined to turn the state into a clone of the home states they fled (in Vermont's case, New Jersey and [downstate] New York).

And while "gun control" is an answer in desperate search of a question, New Jersey and New York have draconian gun control laws, so Vermont was bound to follow.

"Brooklyn Bernie" Sanders is incredibly proud of his adopted state. Now if it would just adopt Hugo Chavez's economic policies it would become a true people's paradise.

This is looking grim. I'm really hoping we get one more supreme court justice before the government flips back Democratic.

Won't help if they keep not taking cases and the opinions of Alito and Roberts are flaky. If you have Gorsuch, Thomas, and a new one - you still need two more to be solidly in the RKBA camp. Is that the case? Supporting a handgun in the house is different from nuts with AR-15s running wild!

There is nothing wrong with people from Brooklyn, BTW - or at least some of us.
