So I’ll keep the Subaru for heavy lifting and keep the sports cars as sports car for now.
This post it’s just a cry for help to push you into making Subaru WRX rally car instead. 😎

The Dakar's personality dramatically changes with the different modes -- sport, rallye, and off road. Also suspension lifted (3.2 inches) or regular.

    With in car commentary

I loved that car. Sold it to a friend.

People who don't "drive" talking about car features are like people who don't "shoot" talking about gun features...

Most people who buy Dakars are buying them for the equivalent of BBQ guns. Nothing wrong with that.

But if you're going to beat a 911 to shit, it's going to take a lot more reinforcement and armor than what a Dakar comes with.

I’ve had a number of dedicated ralllycross and rally cars over the years.

True purpose rally cars… are not great on tarmac. Tires appropriate for off road are soft and get chewed up on pavement very quickly.

Kind of like mudding trucks, something designed for adverse conditions won’t be great on tarmac.

Even a Cayenne benefits from Summer / Winter tire swaps.

My wife and I were lucky enough to be the first two people through the program at the LA Porsche Experience Center. Big fun!
