Any idea what caused the wandering zero? Just enough slop in the fit between the pistol and Roni?

Thanks and probably not worth tracking down in the end I would suspect.

That was basically what I concluded, when I figured out mine wouldn’t hold zero, and that variance in POI cancelled out any advantage the Roni offered me.

Hmmm. I think I’ll wait and see what the fourth generation models bring to the table - plus, I’m really not interested in 17 or 19 sized chassis.

Have you seen the Glock 26/27 version? I’m wondering how they secure the gun to the chassis without a light rail on the dust shield.
The 26 Roni's have been a complete cluster. I stay far away from them.

I am not sure how the new one will hold zero compared to older ones. I don't know if how much sense they make in the US. Here where the average owner can't own a self loading rifle and where even with a shifting zero they will shoot it a whole lot better than a handgun

The generation I am waiting for will be made by Glock.

How many similarities are there between the Roni and Micro Roni? As I mentioned, I am interested in these for the limited use of having a non-firearm to keep in the car.

I'm trying to keep an open mind until I see how the fourth generation works (or doesn’t work.)

I’m thinking that will be a v-e-r-y long wait!

I much prefer the micro to the standard Roni.

General concept is obviously very similar but the Micro is a product improvement I think in execution.
