Thread: OWB Kydex with fold over loop?

OWB Kydex with fold over loop?

Does anybody still make a Kydex OWB one piece holster with the fold over belt loop like the original Blade-Tech? It seems like everybody is either AIWB or a modular set up which puts the gun higher on the belt than I want.

Nothing that I'd be interested in owning. Much of that is due to durability issues. What gun and what ride height did you desire? If that's something we can't do I can at least point ya towards some folks that make something pretty darned close to the old BT stuff.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

Yeah, I understand the durability where they crack in the fold.

I would want something that is IDPA legal and doesn't sit so high as the modular holsters. My shoulders don't work as good as they used to, and a high ride is painful. Blade-Tech's Sting Ray isn't too bad.

I will need some sort of OWB holster by the time Ernest starts shipping his new Berettas.

At least a couple in that old thread are no longer making holsters. Talon Tactical is one that just stopped within the past few months.

Bill, we can make you a custom one using blade tech hole pattern and drop it to wherever you need it, that way you don't have to worry about the breakage issue prone to the fold over designs. Just email us the specs. Thanks

Tony, thanks. Let me do some measuring etc. Here's what Ernest said about what holsters his Beretta will fit.

Yes, it should work fine with M9A1 or Vertec holsters as well as some others. From a holster fit standpoint, it is basically a Vertec or M9A3.
