    I have my dads 1970s vintage 742. Its in .308, and its 3-4 MOA on a good day. Deer inside of 100 yards will die, but its no tack driver in any way shape or form.

    Last week I saw one go for 475.00 at an auction, and it was in really good shape, but definitely not NIB unfired. Personally, I would sell it.

    One just popped up on the local forum for $475, too. Normally I wouldn’t have noticed it except for this thread.
