    Instructors like Hackathorn and Proctor do a demo where they wildly misalign their sights at 7 yards, both horizontal and vertical, but surprisingly most shots are still A zone or just inside C zone.

    It's amazing what a crappy sight picture with a smooth trigger press straight to the rear can do.

    I think one of the light bulb moments in shooting is when you realize this.

    For the most part I agree with your target comment. However, I have known of 3 individuals who had a handgun on their person or under their control and had 3 unintended discharges and became the unintended target of the bullet leaving the barrel!
