I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
Confirmed zero at 20 yards with new AmeriGlo Trooper sights. Although some use #6 front and #8 rear on the 45ACP, I went with 8/8 since that what was already installed. The front sight obscures the entire 10-ring at this distance, and 3/5 landed in the X on a B-8 shot from sand bags; the other 2 were much closer to X than the 10-ring. I’m going to call that zeroed.
Although the Ameriglo sights feel snug in the dovetail, I like the added security of a center screw. I’m going to lock it down with some Blue - 242 (medium strength) Loctite.
I put a total of 25 rounds of Federal 230 grain AE and 25 rounds of 230 grain S&B.
Total round count is 475.
