Indeed. Buy both. They're both good deals, assuming that the 66 is in good condition.

If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

I haven't shot the one I bought in December very much, but I'm glad I bought it. I put new grips on it, and eventually I will have it bead blasted. To my unschooled finger, the trigger pull seems pretty good. I don't really aspire to be a revolver person, but it seems like one should own at least one service sized revolver just to help facilitate being a well-rounded shooter.

I'm a bit tight on gun money but perhaps the extra $150 on the Model 66 would be worth it considering it has useable sights? I don't particularly care about .357 however that being said, $250 for a DAO Smith is pretty stupid good.

I have often parroted the notion that there are guns you just need to have for the purpose of proving you're not a fucking commie

A government model 1911 and a .38 K frame are just such guns.

Shit. I only have one of those. And, like, 80 other guns.

    Does a .357 K frame count???

Yes -- VZ. I haven't shot it since I put them on, but in just handling and dry fire, they seem to me to be a huge improvement. The rubber grips that came on the revolver had finger grooved that I really disliked.
