I Hate to be an Enabler

But this is difficult to pass up.

I bought one three months ago. With a hand-pick, I'd recommend this to anyone who likes revolvers.

If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

Damn...it's tempting. Especially because I just did some of the best group shooting of my life with a beat up old model 64 in DA mode.

I have a 3” 64 that I bought new the week I turned 21, and have always wanted a round butt 4” HB, too. At that price, the cost of round butting would still keep the whole project affordable. Hmmm.

Too bad you can’t still get the Bomar cover-up PPC ribs for these.

It could be a round butt underneath those Goodyears, depending on the vintage.
The 4” 65-5 LE trade in I bought last fall had the same grips. When I got it home and removed them, it had a round butt grip frame. First M65 I have ever seen with it. A bonus as far as I am concerned.
If I just hadn’t picked up a 3” M65 three weeks ago, I would be all over one of those.

Should I buy one of these or a 4 inch Pre-Lock Model 66 for $400?
