Nice, those brenneks shoot great for you. I couldn't get them to group for me. I'm using federal deep penatrator slugs for hunting/as and Remington sluggers for training. They shoot ok and I bought Walmart out when they had 15/$8/box

Hunting what? I shot a deer with the DP slug, and I'd urge against it. Cookie-cutter, zero expansion, through and through the lungs/heart, and it ran 100 yards. Upon field-dressing, I noted the holes through lung and heart to be very clean, with narry a trace of damage outside the 0.723" path of the slug. Meh. I'd prefer a "regular" foster for hunting. It will expand some and destroy more tissue, is mo better. Also, Federal DP accuracy was not the best for me in any weapon I've ever shot it from. They also deviate, hitting a bit to the left for me, compared to every other slug. The following video showcases this at 50 yards (my sights were not zeroed, but compare group location, DP is shifted left).

Where we REALLY see this POI shift to the left, is at 100 yards, when compared with other slugs. We also see the accuracy is very poor, as well.

The deep penatrators shoot great for me. I'm so used to knocking deer down with my 45 colts shooting 255 swc at 1200 fps a .72 going 1350 isn't a hindrance.

The farthest I've had a deer run was after breaking a shouldr and destroying the heart with a 165 grain power point from my M1. The few I've shot with the DP have run less than 50 yards.

I've got nuicanse permits to shoot them at a nursery so I can really track what works for me. I also hunt bear so it's nice to know my go to round is suitable.

It's really gun to gun. My 590A1 can put 5 rounds of sluggers in 50 yard group that touches. The Federal DPs are just a c hair bigger

I re-shot my 50 yard "Slugger" group. It did pretty well. Here is the best, to-date, 50 yard "Slugger" group I've ever fired. only 3 shots, but still...

    Here’s a data point:

I have a small supply of Federal TruBall 1 oz Reduced Recoil slugs, and a brick of 50 Federal TruBall 1 oz Max power slugs. I was concerned about zeroing the RDS on my 1301 for one, and potentially having POI shift with the other.

Today I tested both, and at 25 yd, the POI is identical. Like mostly overlapping holes.
When I get to try at 50 or 100 yds, I’ll update. In the meantime, I’m much less concerned about shifting betweeen the two.
That, and I’ve got a brick of Reduced Recoil on the way, so I should have plenty of both on hand.

During a shotgun training/qual day today, my co-worker fired this 3-shot group from 50 yards prone with Federal Truball LR, while zeroing new sights on his 14" 870. It looked about 1.5" center to center...shows you what this ammo is capable of. Great stuff.
