What a remarkable life, in spite of his condition.

    His obituary, by Roger Pemrose.

The entire middle section discussing his work is beyond me.

Man, I was just reading some of his work the other day -- not that I understand it all. Remarkable man. I've often wondered how much more he could have accomplished if he had not been hampered by his illness.

His like is rarely encountered. It was a privilege to learn from his books and broadcasts. Godspeed and R.I.P.

An amazing human. Genius and a decent sense of self-deprecating humor, all in one package.
