I don’t understand all of complaints regarding this firearm. For those of us who carry in the appendix position you would think people would welcome the shorter slide and barrel. For me the limiting factory of appendix carry is the slide length not the grip length.

Different strokes for different folks. I appendix carry and the 17 length is fine but the grip sticks out due to a little fluff on too of my 6 pack. That being said, I want the 19X too, the balance is perfect in the hand.

Now 4,244 rounds, 16 loads, and still only 1 ammo related stoppage to date. Last week, a batch of skilled shooters ran 988 rounds of BHA 115 FMJ through the gun in about 45 minutes. At the same time, a gen5 G19 (ser#BGPS) shooting 675 rounds. No malfunctions. Most preferred the 19X.

I’ve been trying the AIWB Radian from Mastermind Tactics in their flash sale thread. Also checking out a bunch of BlackPoint Tactical gear as well. No carry issues.

Now 6,630 rounds, 17 loads, 1 new load, and still only 1 ammo related stoppage to date. Since last report, I shot two pistol classes, several matches, and this gun continues to be the only one of the type on the range. Lubing periodically, cleaning very little and mostly just knocking the chunks out. Still my EDC.

The color of the slide looks like the same Ionbond Colt used on the second re-incarnation of the M45A1. With that being said I would expect it to display the same durability of the DLC (ionbond) coated Gen 5's but I'm just guessing, hopefully the OP can confirm.

Nothing noteworthy. If you look at the previous pics of the barrel, the same spots are polished a little more. Slide stop lever has little black left on it. The slide has a few holster scuffs. Nothing in the receiver. No flaking on any of the internal components, some have asked.

Fouling is more obvious due to the color, and the receiver and mags are stained in a few spots. Anyone working for a white glove armory is going to have a tough time with guns so colored.
