RFI: Team communication at work - online dashboard solutions?

I'm looking for team communication tools for my work team. The team consists of two (2) project managers and seven (7) field techs.

I'm interested in an online dashboard that any teammate can access and edit. We use Android/Windows for all devices and corporate Gmail. ETA: KISS is better. I am not looking for cost/labor tracking.

At minimum I envision a single URL where authorized persons can view graphic panels simple text boxes panels detailing the following:

Panel 1. Team member name, job site(s) planned for the next few days, short term help requests
Panel 2. Important long term dates; project completion dates, training opportunities, internal promotion opportunities, significant vacation periods, etc.
Panel 3. Shared tools: what tools are at what job sites
    etc.

Simple, click-edit panels for above information. Instant e-mail notification when changes are made. A daily summary sent out at a specified time - with daily changes so marked. Better yet if there's an integrated Android app.

At this point in time I have zero faith in our branch IT designee (who is not an IT person). We may have a corporate SharePoint server still available. I am willing to personally spend $50/mo subscription service if that's what's needed.

In other employments I have used pbwiki/pbworks but their offerings have changed.

I am open to any ideas or suggestions. Thanks.

I've been using Trello recently to track to-do's and share among geo-dispersed team members.
I could see using it a bit differently to accomplish what you're looking for..

    Good mobile app too..

Slack works pretty well for general collaborative communication.

As far as long term? Sharepoint isn’t bad, but I’ve not got much experience with other similar solutions.

Thanks, guys. There's a lot of stuff out there, just trying to find a convenient, KISS solution.

I use Sharepoint and One Note at work. They can both be temperamental.

We use Wunderlist at home, it’s great for sharing list

We use Microsoft Teams and Planner which are part of Office 365. I didn't think that I would like it, but it actually works pretty well. It gives the ability to manage individual tasks, have conversations, assign tasks to others, access common stored files and edit them online. Ours connects to Sharepoint. There are mobile apps available for Apple. I don't know about Android.

The best part, as far as I'm concerned, is for my monthly project report, all I have to do is email a link to our team's page.

I'll second the recommendation for Trello, I have been really impressed with it and the app version is surprisingly easy as well.

Not sure if it is completely relevant because I don't know your business' full value stream, but it sounds like a custom SAP application may help (with a scheduling bolt on like Prometheus).

I've seen this work well but it is at several large institutions.

For now just a team of 9 improving their organization and communication issues. The scalable, Swiss army knife software solution is important in case this becomes successful and portable to our other teams.

We need this helper app in a big way... but the true impetus is a problem manager on the team.

Confluence gets my vote as I have used it on teams with four people and with teams of eight hundred. https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence

Cost is $10 per month for up to ten people.
