Was asked today if the barrels on Gen 4 and 5 Glock 35s are interchangeable. I’ve never thought about it. Anyone confirm or deny before I shrug my shoulders and tell him to call Glock?

I think you could swap 19 barrels between generations, as the G19 locking block is the new standard. But I don't think you can swap 17/26/34 barrels between generations.
As far as GEN5 G35s...well, are there GEN5 G35s?

Gen5 19/17/34 share the same G19 locking block.
G26 Gen5 uses the late Gen3 and current Gen4 G26 locking block
There's no such thing as a Gen5 G35
