An award winning steak house in TX has blueberries on a steak. Now I like blueberries and steak. The former on cereal or ice cream, in a pie! The latter - mushrooms, onions - maybe some seafood like crab.
They do not belong together. A civilization threat if there was one.
If you think this is because I am not a sophisticate in food manners, I am now going to dinner for Japanese noodles with some imported Spanish baby eels and sake. However, some combos are detrimental to the American way!
