I love the Vertec too. Here are some of mine. I had them refinished in black and OD green by CCR.
I love the smaller grip, the rail, and the dovetailed front sight. Kudos to Todd for helping develop a great pistol. I think I had read at one point that part of the goal was to make the grip profile similar to the 1911. I’m not sure if that’s true. My memory tends to be a little faulty sometimes.
Two of mine are 9mm and I have one with the Vertec lower and a .22 upper for cheaper practice and plinking.

All this Vertec talk, made me take my Vertec to the range with me this morning. If I had brought a magazine as well, I might have enjoyed shooting it.

I showed up at a match with enough mags and holsters for everyone there, but no gun.
Two nights ago an officer arrived at work. I asked him where his gun was....he then returned home to get the needed item. It happens. Lol
Since it looks like the M9A3 orders are catching up, and becoming available, I figured I’d bring it up..
