Very nice! I carried a 3” 65 for many years back in the Stone Age.

Great stuff. Both revolvers look great.
Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.

My 65-5, used but very clean. Need to paint the front sight otherwise I don't plan to change it.

Swapped the grips onto my M66 2.5" and put on a pair of Pachmayr's, my favorite K-frame round butt grips:

Range day on Friday. Have to dig out my K-frame speedloaders...
Are those Hogue boot grips in Goncalo Alves?

Not sure, they are not marked Hogue but do have a six digit number hand-written in ink on the right hand panel.

I hate all y'all and your pretty round guns.

I'm STILL working my neighbor over about his pristine beautifully old-school blued 2.5" M19... I'll get it off him eventually.

    A Model 65 is terrific . . . but nothing beats a pristine, beautifully old-school blued 2.5" M19.

    Other than a pristine, beautifully old-school blued 3" M19!

3" barrel Model 65s are a personal grail gun. Congrats!

Work harder. That is one of my grail guns, been looking for a clean pinned and recessed example for decades. It is so worth it.

As much as I love my Python, respect my GP100, the K-frame is the pinnacle of fighting revolvers, IMHO.
