I suppose it's probably because I started out with a P99c and ran a significant quantity of fairly "warm" loads through it before backing off to something that made ~130 PF, but I've never felt that my full size P99 is particularly snappy. I've shot the full size P99 side by side with a friend's CZ Shadow, and I didn't feel much difference between them, recoil-wise. Just goes to show that everybody's perception is different. I think hand/gun fit is a significant factor as well; the P99 and P99c have always felt as though they were sculpted to fit my hands, so maybe that's the difference. (I definitely do not have any particularly special level of grip strength, so that's not masking it for me.)Originally Posted by schüler
