@PX4 Storm Tracker , is it ok if I use your thread for general .45 PX4 questions? I think it’s the only thread we have for these.

Of course! That would be great.

    Thank you!

The biggest question I have up front is does the PX4 .45 fit full size 9mm and .40 holsters? Unfortunately JMCK doesn’t list a fit for either, I was hoping for my usual OWB2.

I didn’t realize LTT does a TJIB for these, I’m thinking asking if they can do one with a bobbed hammer. I’ll try shooting it as is first, and then with a new hammer spring. I plan to convert it to a G, and probably change to Carry levers at the same time.

There are a couple of Beretta holsters that the 45 will fit snugly into, though they are made for the 9 and 40. In general I have found that the 45 is too big for most holsters that are made for the 9 or 40.

Even with the model 01 Beretta leather inside the waistband holster, the barrel of the 45, being 4.1" and not 4" sticks out of the bottom a little bit.

I would verify that any TJIAB has the trigger bar that is specifically for the 45.

Holstering may be a pain, I’m afraid.

Yes, LTT specifically lists a .45 TJIB which includes the factory trigger bar. That’s going to be a fallback, though.

Some leather makers that specifically list for the PX4 in .45 Auto

    Lobo https://lobogunleather.com/handguns-accommodated/

    Simply Rugged https://www.simplyrugged.com/gun-model-chart.cfm

Palmetto Leather doesn't list it, but they do a good job of covering the rest of the Beretta line-up, so it may be worth a call https://www.palmettoleather.com

I traditionally use Safariland ALS holsters for field use, and was happy to see a fit listed for the PX4 .45. However, it’s not locking in place. I’ll see if it’s an adjustment or a fit issue.

Another question - replacement sights. What is currently out there? Ameriglo seems to have discontinued retail sale of their Beretta sights.
