^^^I've been to Orofino. Maybe some CCI/Speer/ATK peeps jumped into business or something. There isn't much to Orofino. On the other hand, Walt Disney's wife was from thereabouts, and there are still Disney execs retired in the area, so who knows.

Wait wait what? Really? I remember reading a fairly long article in one of the gun rags I read back in the late 80’s or early 90’s about the author pranging his Auto Mag somehow, and the company firing up machinery to make a replacement part even though they were pretty much out of business. Does the tooling still exist? So many questions!

I was hitherto unaware that another company was attempting to go bankrupt making Automags. As much as I would like to get my Mack Bolan on, for $3500 I think I'll pass.

I wish the Vltor Fortis would get back underway again though...

Looks like they are out of Orofino, ID. Isn't there another precision optic company out of the same small rural community?

HPS Optics has been out there for awhile and were the Kahles Distributor and of course Nightforce is also there.
