What did it weigh? 35 pounds?

Thanks man, we have a slot limit of 28-35” up here so anything over or under has to go back. With that being said I didn’t get the fish on the Boga grip unfortunately, I was just focused on a good release and not drifting into other boats. My SWAG would be 25 pounds though. Here’s a fish that weighed 35 for reference (a few years back when the Grundens were still fresh).

My wife and daughter and my daughter's friend caught these. Daughter's friend had never caught a fish before. I made them stop at 20 because I didn't want to fillet more than that. Lol.

I pulled them around on the tow tube for a bit after that and we got off the lake by 11:40 am, when the wind started to get going.

And these little guys have been hitting as hard as the bass lately. The spinner bate I’m catching them on is al ost as big as they are.

False Albacore. I actually really enjoy catching them on light tackle but not so much when looking for Bluefin. They are a smaller species within the tuna family.
