I’ve been fishing off and on over fifty years, this morning was the first time I caught a turtle. It didn’t feel like a fish on the line. Id seen it in the area while I was fishing a state park lake for bluegill. It swam off in a hurry when we put it back in.

I caught this little bass in a wildlife area pond while working a little bluegill popper.

Last offshore trip of 2021 in the books to cap off a solid season. 152+ nautical miles covered in early October on this one but the reward was worth it.
