    Depends what you’re fishing for haha, when they come inshore during the fall and you can catch them on light tackle they are a ton of fun literally like fishing for mini tuna on light gear. But for us this weekend we were looking for their bigger cousin the Bluefin Tuna and we’re equipped for big fish so there wasn’t much sport catching them.

    As for table fare they definitely aren’t unedible, some guys like them, but more people swear them off. I don’t kill a lot of fish for the table so when I do it’s usually something I know I enjoy so I give these guys a pass.

    Got a small Cod today which is a rarity in our area. But it’s the second season in a row I’ve managed to catch some so maybe this is a good sign. Had fun catching some small bass today and just glad to be back in the water.
