Smith & Wesson cutting back on competition?

Talking to some fellow shooters, it was mentioned that there is no S&W IDPA Indoor Championship (aka Winter Nationals) this year and there is gossip that some team S&W members were cut loose. IDPA major match schedule seems to indicate that the former is accurate.

Doug Koenig is now the captain of Team Ruger. Wonder if he will be able to shoot his S&W signature 1911.

Yeah - on the WC team, I asked about the SWIN, and was told it was a no-go this year...
