I have noticed that it seems the DP loading is not as accurate as the regular loading. To this end, I decided to do a 50 yard comparison. The DP loading grouped into 5.75" Edge to Edge, while the regular LR loading grouped into 4" Edge to Edge. I fired prone, off of a sand-bag, using my Super Nova Tactical, 18.5" with Ghost-ring sights.
I fired the groups as one, alternating between the two bulls for each shot, single-loading each. This was to prevent as much shooter error as possible, by eliminating the "warm-up group" or "late development of a flinch". 5 shots per group of each ammo.
Neither of the groups showed a flier.
In comparison, the Hydrashok LR loading at 50 yards grouped into two 5 shot groups measuring 5.5, and 7.6 inches, respectively, edge to edge. No fliers present.
