There's nothing civil about this war.
Absolutely. A heavier recoiling caliber throws your grip off its original hold with each shot changing the consistency of each trigger pull as well. This doesn't even take into account anticipated trigger jerk that starts getting to you after so many rapid shots. I always tell people I am a master of the .44magnum if all I have to fire is two shots.

Officers in Buckeye, AZ come under fire while searching for a murder suspect. They return fire and fatally wound the shooter while luckily missing the two children in the truck's cab.

A Nevada Sheriff's Deputy responding to a residential alarm call shoots a dog that runs at him after entering a gated property. The alarm was an accident and had been canceled by the time the Deputies arrived. The Deputy later makes crass comments about the homeowner which are caught on the bodycam. The alarm company has records of contacting dispatch with the update of a false alarm, something dispatch initially denied. The Sheriff is also saying that the Deputy didn't follow procedure by banging on the gate to check for a dog. A news article (which will be updated on Monday) strongly suggests that heads will likely roll over this. But in typical clickbait fashion, the news agency is not releasing the rest of the story until next week.

Not going to discuss shooting at moving vehicles, that's a heavy topic which deserves it's own thread.
What I will talk about is the fact that the officer shot at a vehicle while the backdrop were other vehicles. This is a no go, especially in this particular situation.
It looked to me as though they used traffic to create a natural roadblock and then discharged at the vehicle with the stopped vehicles as a backdrop. That's a situation I do not like.
