    Can anyone say Code Black?
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.

What the hell was that main officer doing in the Baltimore OIS? He ran to the street twice for some reason.

Based on his questions to the passerby and communications with dispatch, I think he was trying to determine what street he was on to call for backup and ambulance...

Yeah I mean I figured that, but his timing on when he did it didn't seem like the best. The fight was still on at that point and you just left your partner standing in the wind.

I didn't say his actions make sense to me, watching from my computer screen - but I can understand where his thought process was. He was panicked, his buddy was shot, his first and over riding concern was to get medical help ASAP. What was going on downrange was not foremost in his mind - but not COMPLETELY forgotten either, as evidenced by the tactical reload after his first "crazy Ivan" run to the end of the block...

I think there was a lot of adrenaline induced circular behavior and confusion displayed throughout. I'm glad it ended up as well as it did considering. Hard to prepare for the moment...clearly.
There's nothing civil about this war.

It totally throws off one's game when he/she has no clue where they are and can't tell dispatch, ambulances, and backup where in the hades the poop just hit the fan.

He was playing catch up and let it overwhelm him a bit. I'm not going to be too hard on the guy though. Traumatic events be traumatic and all.

    Regards.

They got the job done and got to go home, even if it was a tad close (thank god for the vest). Adrenaline clearly took over, and I haven't been in that position to say it wouldn't happen to me too. Glad it worked out for them.
