Not a medical professional, but doing chest compressions on a person full of holes just pumps out the rest of their blood if you haven’t stopped the bleeding.

It's a shame that two dogs had to lose their lives as a result of that dirtbag's actions.
There's nothing civil about this war.

Yeah, copy that, it is simply heart-sickening to see that they lost a K-9 like that.

Unfortunately, the suspect's dog also paid for his owner's assininity which happens all too much these days.

You are correct. In this age though, we are expected to do “something” even if it’s not helpful. Age of cameras and whatnot.

It is part of "new policing". It does not matter if it accomplishes anything; it is performed to indemnify police administrators, and to attempt to pacify the sentimental.

And that’s called sending your dog on a suicide run. That’s a gun call not a dog call. That pisses me off.
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.

I don’t blame any of the shooters. The dog shouldn’t have been sent in that situation.

We had a more clear cut example of that locally not too long ago.

I had those exact thoughts, but not currently a handler. As cool as that job is the dog is not.the solution to everything. Most handlers in medium sized and smaller departments take way more patrol calls.for service than canine calls.
