Charlotte shooting: 3 US Marshals killed, 5 officers injured serving warrant, suspect dead
Charlotte police say that one suspect was killed in the shoot-out involving multiple officers

Situation is still developing. 3 members of the Marshal’s task force were killed but it’s not clear at this time if they were actual DUSM’s or Task Force Officers. (The majority of USMS TF members are LEOs from other agencies who get special deputation as Task Force Officers).

The number of injured CPD have been reported as 4,5 and 8, so the usual 24 hour caveat for reliable information applies.

The suspect’s warrant was for felon in possession of firearm.
