Then there's also the weight. I don't know how much a fully loaded P365 with 10 +1 rounds of 124 gr 9mm weighs, but I'm sure it's noticeably more than a G42 with 6+1 90 gr Gold Dots.

A loaded P365 with 11 rounds of 115 grain bullets weighs 1 lb, 1 oz on my kitchen food scale or 655 grams. I have carried it in my front jeans pocket, but it is noticeable. I carry keys and a wallet in my other front pocket. Hopefully, minimizing anyone thinking I have a gun in my other pocket. I'm just an old guy with a lot of stuff in my pockets(which makes me think all the older than me guys I see with full pockets are carrying guns, not "Wethers Originals"). Tight or slim-fit jeans/pants it does not work, at least for me.
It did work great with a Masterminds Tactics Specialist Covert belt and below my waistband. I couldn't feel it. I had to keep checking it which I know is a giveaway, but I thought it slipped loose and fell down my pant leg. That was with some khaki work pants.

If you wear relaxed fit jeans, it might work with a well designed, minimally sized pocket holster like an Aholster.

I've carried a 365 in relaxed fit Carhart's, not quick to get out
of the pocket and I find the weight bothersome.
I much prefer an XL, AIWB, more discrete and comfortable.

17 ounces loaded? No way that's correct. Everywhere I look, I see ~18 ounces unloaded for a 365, and 11 rounds of 9mm is going to add another ~5 ounces.

TS or non-TS version of the XL? I'm considering switching my XL from IWB to AIWB, but still a bit leery of that trigger.

I'll weigh it again. I have a great headache thanks to covid so please allow me an error. One minute...

    *****

How about 23.1 ounces or 1.7 lbs. I miss read the 7 earlier. I apologise.

No worries. I was mainly just concerned that you might end up ruining a cake recipe if your kitchen scale was telling you that 500g of flour was actually 370grams

I'm not sure if it's already been answered but are there any downsides to milling a P365 instead of getting a P365X? I can either get a P365 for $400 or a P365X is $600.

I'll throw a couple of reasons:

    1. Quality milling and refinishing the slide is going to cut that price difference to about $50, best case

    2. Direct milling is the most "secure" way of mounting an optic, but, if you decide a newer, better optic would be better than what you mill for, you're stuck unless you spring for a new slide.

YMMV, but I'm waiting for the X's to come back in stock.

I joined the 365 club today. Well, technically my membership is under review for 14 days
