    It’s @JCN ‘s fault.
It really is a great setup. I was an early adopter of the platform and there really wasn’t anything like it. It punches above its weight and now has the capability of replacing a larger gun as well do to modularity.

I think the RMRcc is going to be the Betamax of optic footprints.

You can’t make a proprietary cut for something that’s “meh.”

For the consumer, an enclosed K footprint is going to check a lot of boxes.

Military and LEO might need something more robust but I think you’re really getting something that’ll be good for a long while.

@JCN, all of yours are manual safety, right? I sent you a PM.

Thanks! I’ll check that in a bit.

Thank you for walking through that! I just tried taking a little off the springs - the XL took a half coil, the P365 three quarter. I figure you always modify the cheapest part, right? Even after hundreds of actuations the P365 was unacceptably stiff, even after oiling. Now they are both good, almost decent 1911 level.

    Again, thanks!

It may be superstition, but I always load new magazines to capacity and let them sit a few days fully loaded - it seems to help a little. The 12 rounders from the new XL were a special hell, my thumb should recover in a few days. Time to shop for a Maglula, I think.

@JCN - you even inspired me to tune my M18’s manual safety. Thanks!

Hehe. I’m big on tuning things to my applications.

On my competition PCC, safety springs and mag release springs get modified.

On Timmy guns, the slide lock bearing surfaces get a little work on them.

Leaving a new gun completely stock is like saying that you have to get blisters to wear in new boots, IMO.

    Your thumb's will appreciate that!
