Damn that looks remarkably like the old Man from Uncle (60's TV series) guns....I might have to follow your path with the can in place to just to impress my boomer buddies that I finally have Napoleon's gun...
I am super jelly. To confess, I AktchuAlly had one of those in complete set form as a toy gun growing up. I felt super cool dispatching imaginary Russian Agents and dallying with sultry spies in the dark reaches of sketchy bars in East Berlin. And made me highly attractive. *
* ok ok only one of those is true, but still.
Didn't Magpul actually come up with the oversize transistor radio that folded out into a pistol kind of thing? I had the whole Man From Uncle kit, too, when I was 5 or 6. And my father wonders where my gun fixation started...
yep, came in a plastic briefcase with all the parts you could snap together. I agree it was like Magpul copied that radio, and don't forget the toy camera that folded out to a pistol and fired paper caps. I always wanted the Thrush carbine too....a neighbor kid had one.
Between that and Johnny Eagle stuff, I have certainly never grown up nor have my interests advanced.
