    Dave Spaulding - Feedback

Has anyone taken any of his classes? I'm considering his Adaptive Combat Pistol course in Beaumont, TX in April. I like the material of his I've seen so far, but wanted to get some feedback.

    Thanks.

I’ve taken several of his classes. Highly recommended.

Ditto. Check out the AAR report section. I found him to be well worth it.

Timely thread. He's teaching a class near here in a couple of months. Good to know of people's good experiences.

Yeah, in Jackson. If I wasn't working that weekend, I'd be there. It looks like I'm going to Beaumont.

I've not been in a class recently, but I thought he as really good when he'd teach at an IALEFI RTC.

I have only had one class with Mr. Spaulding. He is definitely one of those crochety old school type instructors. The class I took from him was a more basic level class and it was well done. I would have no problem recommending him to a newish student of pistolcraft. Though I have not returned to train with him again, a friend of mine Randy Harris, who is a member here has trained with him I believe, 3 times.

You mean like Clint Smith??...yeah, I'll take that 'salty experience' any day.

While salty - he is in no way unpleasant. Quite the opposite.

I've seen video of both, and yeah, if they're 'too much' for you, you may not be ready for using a gun.
