I've had good luck with Under Armour as my go-to, especially for running in the cold.

I'm wearing a carhart childs size. I don't have a small head but I like that it's less bulky.

As another follically challenged individual, I have found the Arcteryx RHO lightweight beanie to be a very good cool weather/short exposure cap. The heavier Arcteryx caps usually feel too snug for me. For colder times or high wind I prefer OR or Mountain Hardwear caps.

I also really enjoy my Carhartt brimmed cap. Cheap and really practical for sunny days.

These work very well. My caps get pretty jacked up in the winter. So I have bought a few now.

These are the two I have in my coat closet. I've been really happy with both.

I have a big head. I have tried The North Face fleece cap and they are too tight and do not cover my ears. Some of the others mentioned look about the same. The OriginUSA caps look like they may work for my big head. Any other recommendations for us big heads?

My favorite beanie hat, ever. I don't bother with any others. The holes for eye glasses are awesome, instead of making little wind tunnels that freeze your ears. And the cut is awesome, no interference with peripheral vision too, which I like a lot. It's a very well thought out design, better than most I've seen or used.

I bought the Tactical Distributors Polar Fleece Beanie and it fits my big melon and covers my ears (just barely). Its thin but seems warm. Gonna try it out for a while and see how it works.
