    New Attachments

One of our carryovers from leather that we've offered for some time has never made it to our site but will be up this week. Closed soft loops are great for those that want the little extra security or are seeking a thinner attachment.

We are also adding two different AIWB attachments. Both are claws and we've had both since their T&E stages and are ready to bring them out across the board. The PHLster Tuckstrut is the first, it works with all of our holsters and offers a little narrower profile at the expense of thickness. It's a great balance and for the many that use a single soft loop it's a SOLID way to go. Next is the Modwing designed by Henry Holsters. We have a long working relationship with Andrew Henry and have been working together for a few years now. The Modwing is an alternative to the RCS claw but also offers a second leverage setting. Some of our customers have found the RCS claw to be more aggressive than needed. If re-position doesn't work the Modwing may offer the right balance of leverage.

Then the one that might be the coolest is the Ulti-Clip XL. We've been working on a 1.5" attachment that is easy on without the risk of a plastic clip that is not secure. Thus far the Ulti-Clip XL (specifically this model) has been holding up for the initial testing. We're gonna get some mat time in and send a few testers out to see if they hold up but it's looking hopeful.

So if we want closed loops and the modwing do we just order and put in the comments what we want or is email best? Price differential if we want modwing and tuck strut to try each? Will the tuckstrut work if you keep both loops? Thanks

What we'll be doing is likely sticking with the RCS as a default and offering a Tuckstrut/loop/spacer and Modwing as a checkbox item as well as standalone accessories. The attachments will likely become check boxes where the user selects the out of the box attachment and claw (if applicable) and then any additional attachments as desired.

The Tuckstrut can work with dual loops though the holster body has 3 heights and the Tuckstrut is a slot with a greater range. The Tuckstrut does work rather well to add a little friction to keep things in place though so the leading loop may not be needed. That said, I don't see an issue with using both loops and just eyeballing the TS loop.

Awesome! Is any of it as available now or will it be updated on the site when available?

We’ve had the Ulti-Clip XL for a month or two now and for a quick attachment with a belt it seems pretty solid. It does pull off without a belt so that’s a no-go but with a belt it will likely make the cut.

A year or more in the making is also the Modwing. We’ve had samples along the way for a year or so and are pleased to add it as an option.

Modwings and PHLster Tuck Struts are on hand. They can be requested, just email us. Site integration will be soon.

Modwings and TuckStruts seem to be popular. We'll snap a pic later but a customer found the TuckStrut to be useful for them on a J-frame as well.
