    Noveske Gen III SPR

I saw one of these at cabelas and loved it. Wouldn’t buy from there but yea I keep thinking that it’d be awesome with a Vortex Razor HD and a bipod. Worth the money?

My vote would be no. I'd get a Knights if I wanted to spend big bucks.

I have a Noveske Gen 2 Recon. It's an excellent rifle and extremely accurate. I traded into it. For similar money I would look at a KAC or a Hodge.

Why is that, what do kac or hodge do better than noveske?

KAC over noveske, especially for a 556 spr.

Noveske changed manufacturers from gen 2 to gen 3 and whoever is making their new stuff isn't as good/consistent.

KAC is consistent and delivers good performance for the money, especially in an spr platform.

In my case, run suppressed unless you get a switch block Noveske.

I've also heard of QC declines in the past few years.

The only thing really special about a noveske, including mine, is the barrel.

The Hodge has a great barrel and rail as well as superior small parts quality.

With the KAC in particular, you are getting a gun that is actually re-engineered and more durable than a standard AR inckuding an excellent trigger.

Honestly, while I like the Hodge, the KAC is really the best value.

KAC is consistent because KAC is the actual manufacturer vs an assembler.

If I was buying an SPR, I’d be buying a an SR-15 MOD 2 LPR, bar none.

I have had two factory Noveskes and liked them both. That being said, both have left me wondering what they do better than a BCM. If I really wanted to spend that much money, I’d also get a KAC.

I've got a 14.5" Noveske afghan with a leupold 3x9 vx-r patrol scope and it's amazing, I can make hits out to 500 yards with m193 ammo regularly. I had a kac sr15 and it was quite nice as well but I liked my Noveske better. Either will kick butt imo for a higher priced ar15.
