Wife has been giving me gifts again. The Shaman was for my birthday (wife picked it) and the Millie is for Christmas (daughter picked it).

My girls obviously have excellent taste in cutlery!

This doesn’t compare to a lot of the knives in this thread, but I always wanted an Emerson Appalachian but had no need. Got this from the GF for Christmas. I’m pretty floored by the construction considering Chinesium and all. Blade steel isn’t top notch but I don’t need it to be. I gotta say after having carried a 940-2 and Salt 2 for the past two years having something more substantial in the pocket feels good.

I added this to a recent Knifecenter order. It’s a Buck 112 with a synthetic handle and a pocket clip. I’ve had it a couple weeks now and am really happy with it. It locks up tight and was pretty sharp out of the box. I’ve been carrying a Buck Bantam since losing my Spyderco Endurance (which resurfaced a couple years later!!). I like the 112 better than the Bantam so far.

Chinesium? The Appalachian is made in the USA.

Sorry for the confusion, this is the Kershaw CQC-10k basically Emerson’s Appalachian design made by Kershaw for their collaboration line.

Made by Luke Sparrow of Feathered Knife Works out of Tennessee. It’s a custom dimascus with amboyna scales. I believe he called it a “Camper”, approx 5” blade. If you have IG, check out Feathered_knife_works
