I like the way the lock on the Mini Grip works. But other than not collapsing on me awkwardly, no lock preferences.

Folding knives (or anything sharp) pic thread

Thanks @luckyman and @Gater. Ordered one of these:

Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Plain Edge Folding Knife, Orange https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DJTV3M8..._Jb0DCbYNPNC5V

The side by side pics with the mini-Grip were very helpful, much obliged. And I liked the Spyderco links also. Turns out many years ago I had a Spyderco but I lost track of it so I’m familiar with the brand. Thanks a bunch.

I decided on a plain edge this time. And P-F orange of course. I blame @Tom_Jones.

The Dragonfly is a great little big knife. Mine is green.

The Victorinox you showed earlier looks like an Executive in Stainless. I have several of them (plastic, though) stashed around. Very useful, but not so small as the keychain one.

Recieved the Dragonfly 2 today. Super pleased with it so far. Swapped the clip for lefty with a T9 bit.

Length is really good. Super sharp. And unbelievable how light it is - something like just over an ounce? Wow.

At first I was pretty surprised how small it seemed closed up; I actually thought maybe they sent the wrong item. But opened it feels really good. Been a while since I had a hole instead of a stud; opening it is easy.

    Like it.

Anyone have experience with First Edge folding knives? This looks interesting.

Geez, blues, now you're just showing off.

But seriously, is that all of them? I am impressed. Great looking blades!

Thanks. Not nearly all of them, but some nice ones with decent images.

Most of the pix I have, by and large, are sub-par and I'm too lazy to take on the task of taking new shots. I'll post up others from time to time.

The Dragonfly (in ZDP189) is my go-to EDC knife; small and light enough to carry with any outfit, doesn't scare anyone, yet cuts much bigger than it is. For me, if it's too big for the DF, I should probably consider a fixed blade.

Had it out a couple times today in fact. At Lowe’s and the Post Office. I don’t even know it’s there.

Even after just a day it’s really growing on me.

I have an old carbon fiber dragonfly I bought years ago when I was going overseas to conduct an investigation in Brazil.

My only issue with it is that the diminutive size makes it difficult for me to open one-handed (these days).
