Walter is a great blade-smith and solid shooter. I've been waiting about three years for him to make a folder and had about lost hope until this hit a few months ago. I got this one during a blem sale. I can't find the blem - great deal.
Super smooth one-handed flipper opening action, solid lock up, fantastic blade profile, light weight, good ergos, and very sharp out of the box. The blade steel should make sharpening it less of a chore. Rides well in the pocket for work and dress clothes. Will do as a SD tool in the absence of a good fixed blade. For SD it can be held in any orientation, but most comfortable in a traditional sabre grip or an edge-out ice pick grip.
It has replaced several of my other high quality (and more expensive) folders/non-fixed blades as my go-to EDC folder.
Bottom line: Georgia, USA made mid-tech knife sold at quality production knife prices. I'm all about it. Great knife - highly recommend.
