    This is the Hogue Version. My brother in law picked one up too. For the money it’s a no brainer. Very well built.

    Looks like a Pro-Tech Malibu.
    3.25" 20CV blade. Probably the most popular knife of 2020.
    Different for Pro-Tech as it is NOT an automatic knife.
    I like the design a lot but I do not care for aluminum scales.

    Here is one of a pair of RAT RC-3s that were gifted to me by Tom Jones. This one I lent to my PhD supervisor when he went to Brazil early last year. And again to a colleague when she went to Africa in December. So, between me, supervisor, and colleague - it has been carried on three continents. Not really appreciably worn at this point, definitely needs to be beaten on a bit more. We'll see if we can fix that here in the future.

    Protect Malibu. It's a button lock flipper. I normally don't like flippers because of the flipper tabs protruding in the pocket but it's hard not to like this knife. It's basically an adult fidget toy. Scales are surprisingly grippy for being aluminum.
