    Thanks HCM. I just replaced it. I can see how over polishing could cause it especially if one polished through the plating but I doubt I over polished it since I did it by hand (fingers) with a microfiber cloth and Mother’s Mag Polish.

    I wasn’t aware of the change on the gen 5.
