This is such a bummer. I'll try to call and cancel tomorrow before my order ships out. Now that my mind had the expectation that I was going to take a dip in the MRDS world, I feel compelled to spend a bit more to get a Type 02...

Honestly, I think getting a good deal on a type 1 is the way to go right now if you are just trying to see if a MRDS is for you. If you already know it works for you and you are using it for a duty weapon or something where it will see a ton of rounds the extra for the type 2 may be worth it.

I haven't had any issues with my type 1 using the Battle Werx sealing plate, but if you do have issues Trijicon will take care of you.

I'm really not a fan of the auto adjusting on the type 2, so I probably wouldn't choose that over a type 1 at the same price.

So I'm really liking the Surefire e-mails this year. This afternoon their e-mail had a link to 6PX Pro lights (15 lo/320 hi lumens) for $38. The discount code from the other night still works, so the price per light with the code is ~$27. Regular MSRP for this light is $95 according to their e-mail.
