My New Favorite JRC Holster: The Watson With Tiger Tail...

Sorry PF for I have sinned, for it's been too long since I've posted and almost 2 months since I've shot. Today I finally got out to the range for the second time (IIRC) with the new Watson w/Tiger Tail. http://jrcholsters.com/

This is a G19 with a Mastermind EDC belt (love it) that now looks like it's called the Specialist, and the JMCK SPMP mag pouch with loops.

This was a custom build due to the fact that the Watson didn't quite work for my slim/short build (5'6" 135#). I still have and love my AIWB-CDA II, but this seems to edge out the "butt/mag" problem I have with the G19.

So without further ado, here's pictures and then we'll discuss more later, b/c words are cheap.

Here's a link to all the pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/AsmRx590sXX7vctu2

    Enjoy! I have!

Good to see you, D. I hope with all these internet crotch shots we're not going to be hearing about you on CNN in the coming days.

Now, go and sin no more.

Oh, and congrats on finding the rig that works for you.

I just think the crotch shots are the only way to really show someone how comfy a AIWB rig can be

Maybe I'll make life easier as I have a moment to give show some of the non-crotch-shots
What I was really looking for is more tuckability into my right hip, so I asked @JRCHolsters to magic me up something specifically for moi, b/c I'm elitist scum. We discussed the CDA/Watson pros/cons for my body and how I really didn't care for the kydex claws as they were uncomfortable for me and they stuck out b/c they didn't contour to my body. After I traced the Watson and then drew some hieroglyphics on a garbage bag for Jim, he did his magic. Voila!

Of course, Jim being Jim, he figured out what I really wanted was an adjustable "width" tail so it could press even more or less into my body, which is even cooler than I thought was possible. Of course the fit/finish and color is superb and of course the ride height is adjustable. This is why I have 4 JRC holsters

    Enjoy the holster porn.

Do you have a pic of just the holster? If it's what I'm thinking of, this may be a good alternative to an SME for a wing/claw style holster.

Here are a few pics from when I was building this rig. The screw closest to the trigger guard adjusts draw tension. The one farthest away on the tail opens and closes the tail to adjust wedge thickness. Based on the needs layed out to me, this is what I came up with for the modification to the Watson.

This looks brilliant. As I've slimmed down over the past 2 years I've been wanting something like this. I had considered fabricating a similar wing out of PE or PP to add to a JMC George, but this much more elegant. The CDA-II always pinched/rubbed in the wrong spot and I year-end for a lower profile wing.

Jim- would you be willing to make more of these? I'm very, very interested depending on lead time.
