I believe they are the Gen 1 but I'm not crazy about the auto shut off feature on the Gen 2.

After 16 hours of no button presses it goes to auto-adjust, not auto shut off.
The auto adjust setting is actually brighter than what I usually have it set at for any specific lighting condition.

I still don't like it. Not a fan of auto anything I want to stay the way I ser it unless ai change it.

Auto adjust sucks, just like Surefire's intellibeam crap.
