Revolver Problems

The promised update! Sorry folks, I was late getting to the range today due to a prominent gun show area. I try to avoid the range under those conditions because I don't want to go home with any more holes than I showed up with

Loaded up 50 of my usual load, except with the bullets seated around 1.420 and crimped in the proper groove (illustrated in my picture), and crimped .005. Took them to the range on Wednesday night, shot them all. I'm happy to report that I had no squib loads or gun powder spewing out the muzzle. However, none of my guns will reliably pop Winchester primers.

Feeling emboldened, I loaded up 100 rounds except crimped .015., and headed to the range. Shot a 44/50 Dot Torture at 5 yards (stinkin' WHO and SHO shooting), and then shot these two groups at 25 yards standing, 2H, on an NRA B8 with my S&W Model 15:



No issues to report except for my inability to put all of my bullets in the 10 ring (working on that!).
