I could use a trainer too! This thing is stupid sharp as advertised and the 3 edges...
I figure the sheath will get thinner every time I reinsert it.

I sharpened my folder on Sunday (Spyderco kit) and promptly cut myself putting it away. 3 edges would be suicide for me.

Couple new blades this week. Love the Disciple, but the sheath is no Bueno. Retention is way to loose on the live blade, and damn, I thought the clinch pick sheaths had extra material.

Along with some others. I really like small fixed blades.

Up1911, what are the 2 similar knives that are horizontally oriented in the bottom photo with the black wrapped handles?

Dang it, that is *exactly* what I have been looking for; specifically 3” or less, but preferably close to 3”. Able to be used in “classic” position for everyday cutting chores as well as in rgei position with very few compromises, but balanced by extra points for not too tactical scary looking. Ideally around 6.5” overall.

Google is not showing me anything; let me know if you have any leads, or suggestions on competitors.

Everything I’ve seen before this was a little too compromised for rgei for me.

There is a huge thread in the Edged Weapons sub forum entitled CCW Straight Knives that features a lot of options.

    Then there’s this: https://pistol-forum.com/showthread....efensive-Blade

The search for the Goldilocks knife is like the search for the Goldilocks holster- we’ve all got a box full of unsuccessful candidates

Here’s a couple from Greg Moffatt, his 7” Dagger and Ayun. He does mostly small knives, his G10 is slightly small on purpose or he can’t measure . In my search for the perfect ambidextrous knife, the 7” dagger is a whisker too small. He makes an 8” I think.
