    It’s great blade and clever design, definitely killed off the hard-use folder concept for me. Like the other user I’ll be buying a second one and a Magnus soon. I have the serrated version and it’s the best execution of blade serrations I have seen. Plus, Bill Rapier is simply a good man and a good American; one of the best instructors out there.

    I don't want to question Mr. Rapier's integrity or patriotism in any way, but has anybody found any mention where these blades are actually made? It does not mention made in USA anywhere, so I figure they are made somewhere else. But unfortunately the topic does not seem to be addressed at all (or I was simply too dumb to find it).

    I asked on this forum and others a few times with no answer. Even sent a few emails direct to Amtac to find out the country of origin with zero reply. Seems to be a secret.

    No confusion for me. American Tactical doesn't want to admit the blades are made in China.
