I've got a 3" K frame, but it's the ugly sister that didn't go to the ball compared to that beauty.

I actually prefer the feel/pointing of the .38-chambered Ks; there is something about the more svelte cylinder that is subtle, but noticeable. I mean, not enough for me to get this and sell my RB 3" 65-3, but it's there, IMHO.

Anyone want to buy my new Cobra?

I do understand what you are saying. Mine is a nickel-plated 3" round-butt Model 10. The finish has definitely seen better days, so it's going off to Robar. But mechanically it's very nice.

And it shoots very well with the 135-grain .Gold Dots.

I remember not buying one of those back in late 80s because it was only a .38 special. I think they were about $330

Who knows how high it will go. It only takes one person who wants it bad. I know I have paid too much to replace guns I foolishly sold off when I was younger

It'll go 8 bills, probably. Once a wheelie gets up close to comma territory, I pretty much decide to keep my slowly accumulating "Ted Yost/HITs turn my 65-3 into a dagga gun clone" fund intact, no matter how much I want a 3" NY-1. I'm watching, but this one will go higher than I want to pay for almost any model 64.
